Breast Health

We provide education using plastic models that will help you in learning to examine your breasts. Most women discover their own breast lumps. If you have felt anything in your breasts that concerns you, let your health care provider know. Most lumps are not cancerous so try to not be afraid to tell your provider if you discover one. Even though most lumps are not cancerous, you should not delay clinical examination to rule out a potential problem, or begin treatment if it is needed. Early detection is the key!

Our practitioners provide patients with a clinical exam and answer any questions you may have about self breast exams.

Women 40 and over should have regular yearly mammograms. If you have a family history of breast cancer, you should begin sooner. Make sure you let your provider know about this.
