Nurse Practitioner Services

According to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (www.aanp.org), more people are choosing NPs as their primary care provider. NPs provide high-quality primary, acute, and specialty healthcare services similar to those of a physician.

NPs have advanced graduate education, with master’s degrees or doctorates. All NPs have advanced educational training beyond their initial professional registered nurse preparation. Like physicians NP's can assess and examine, establish medical diagnoses and prescribe treatment plans, including prescription medications for common and complex health conditions.

NPs practice under the state’s rules and regulations;

NPs are nationally certified in their specialized areas;

NPs are recognized as expert healthcare providers;

NPs can prescribe medicines in all 50 states.

The role of the NP continues to evolve in response to changing social and healthcare needs.
As the Leaders in Primary and Acute Healthcare,
NP's combine the roles of Provider, Mentor, Educator, Researcher & Administrator.
